Atlanta wedding photographers, Douglasville, GA Wedding · Shica + Eric

They met several times at different functions across the city. Well, kind of. Shica was always aware of Eric’s presence. He keeps everyone laughing and is quite amusing, – except she didn’t always find him as funny as everyone else did. However her girlfriends raved about him. Finally at one event, Eric told Shica all about his entertainment coupon book. It was his special way of asking her to help him visit some of the places in his coupon book. Shica became as amused by him as everyone else and accepted.
Over time Shica learned that Eric was more than entertainment at parties. She began to admire his love for his church and his work with youth. They slowly grew into a couple and came together the last weekend in May as husband and wife.
Their wedding was an outdoor ceremony held in the courtyard of the Douglasville Conference Center. The day was full of colors, family, friends, dancing, and constant laughter. It was a complete Memorial Day wedding topped off with awesome barbecue, five fabulous cakes, and a smorgasbord of other desserts to indulge in.
Shica and Eric, thanks for having me as your photographer.
Much Love,

Shica created shoes to match her peacock theme (yes, shoes, as in plural – every girl needs a ceremony shoe and a reception shoe).

Shica and Eric kept their family and friends involved with their ceremony.  They passed their rings around the crowd for guest to pray over them and had family and friends ring their bells for their first kiss as husband and wife.
